1. Put a padlock on Seoul tower as a sign of my undying love for myself.
2. Eat a raw and freshly severed tentacle from a live octopus.
3. Bike (gasps) along the Han River.
4. Take a picture of/with a cute Korean (from Nicole)
5. Party in Hongdae (from Apa)
6. Find a manbag (from my sister)
Feel free to add to my list. But please take into consideration my safety and my budget.
Don’t have an itinerary. Don’t have the energy to pack my luggage. Don’t have the mental capacity to think about the work to finish before or after my trip. However, I do have a passport, plane tickets, hotel reservations, and a lonely planet guide book to Korea which makes me think that I am pretty prepared for my Seoul trip on Wednesday.
- Morning conversations:
- Mae: I just got this horrible hair cut yesterday. I have to get it fixed.
- Nicole: Murphy's Law of Hair. Never get a haircut before big events.
- Mae: Law of Hair?
- Nicole: Basically applying Murphy’s Law to hair.
- Mae: Ah. Anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
Damn, can I have her moves?!?!??
I went to Iligan last January. A month after the typhoon Sendong, there are still traces of disaster.
